Please note all our items have the original intact seals We do not stock inferior unsealed 'Varnish type' glass. Many items marked with the hale Thomson/Varnish patent seal were manufactured by the Whitefriars manufactory.

A Pair (can sell seperately) of Hale Thomson Mercury Glass Tazze,

in an unusual green colour with faceting, 7 1/2in (19cm) approx, no later than 1851.

 

A Varnish Glass Vase,

in the rare blue colour, the seal marked Varnish & Company, 13in (33cm) approx, no later than 1851.

A Pair (can be sold seperately) of Varnish Glass Goblets,

with the rare gold colour, engraved with exotic birds, both goblets marked, 11in (28cm) approx, no later than 1851.

A Pair rare two-colour footed Mercury glass table salts,

silver with gilt interiors, 4in (10cm) aprrox, no later than 1851, only available as a pair.

A Varnish Glass Master or Table Salt, marked Thomson

the amethyst glass overlay cut through to silver with intersecting circles, the rim faceted, 6in (15cm), no later than 1851 SOLD
