A Whitefriars aquamarine teardrop on light green glass vase, designed by Harry Powell

Early 20th Century, 11in (28cm) high approx.

A Powell for Whitefriars wine glass

pale olive green colouration on typical twist stem1890-1910.

A fine Whitefriars amber 'Serpent' glass vase or 'Comet' beaker designed by Harry Powell,

the body trailed with 'comet' or 'serpent' motifs, circa 1910, 8in (20cm) approx.

From the Historical Glass series, the inspiration for this vase was Hubert Van Ravesteyn's painting 'Still life with pipes and glass' which is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
