A fine Whitefriars amber 'Serpent' glass vase or 'Comet' beaker designed by Harry Powell, |
|
the body trailed with 'comet' or 'serpent' motifs, circa 1910, 8in (20cm) approx.
From the Historical Glass series, the inspiration for this vase was Claes Berchem's still life painting which is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
